BA (Hons) Visual Production is aimed at those who are studying or have recently studied a related subject such as television, VFX or film at an institution outside the UK. There are several common modules to be studied and optional learning from within a set subject area or areas. Possible areas of specialism include Media Production, VFX, Games, Animation, Visual Journalism or Film by means of a targeted Independent Study to develop a deeper skills base through self-directed learning. Students will build on their previous experience of studying screen media to develop their practical and theoretical skills in their chosen area, learning to understand more about the creative industries, which will strengthen their employability following graduation. Students will learn how the British screen industries work, by visiting production companies, as well as meeting and hearing from the most creative and inspiring producers, designers and creatives in a number of guest lectures.
