Aeronautical engineers apply their knowledge and skills to every aspect of air vehicles; from design, development, manufacture, flight testing and certification, to preserving airworthiness and sustainable aircraft operations. This degree was developed in close consultation with industry professional bodies, including the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) to boost your employability. Students will learn about the engineering principles needed for a career in the aerospace industry, and gain practical experience on campus in our Aerospace Centre. If the weather permits, students will also take to the skies with flight test lessons in their final year.
