The Bachelor of Theology (three-year degree) offered by the Faculty of Theology in Lugano (FTL), affiliated with the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), aims to study and deepen the foundational disciplines for understanding the meaning of our society, born and shaped by two millennia of Christianity in Europe. The program of study encompasses disciplines ranging from philosophy to history, from dogmatic theology to biblical sciences, from ethics to social sciences, for a comprehensive overview of our culture.

Furthermore, the study of theology is always relevant: the questions that human beings have always asked about themselves and about God are considered, positioned, and investigated with academic scientific rigor thanks to the support of professors and researchers, also considering other religions. This is the framework of a fundamental and fascinating journey both for preserving historical memory and for investigating the near future of our existence.
