The aim of the Genetics programme is to develop experience through experimental work in genetics.   • Completed university bachelor’s degree studies in the life sciences study field group.
  • The following or closely related course units studied during the bachelor studies (no less than 30 ECTS credits in total): molecular biology, bioinformatics, cell biology, genetics, bachelor’s project. The grades of each of these course units shall be no lower than 60 per cent of the maximum possible grade, whereas the average – no lower than 70 per cent of the maximum possible grade.
  • A motivational letter and at least one academic recommendation.
  • Those meeting the requirements shall be invited to a motivational interview. The motivational interview is organised remotely. The interviews will take place on 22–26 April and 17–21 June. Evaluated during the interview: the motivation behind choosing the programme, a short presentation on the bachelor thesis or scientific practice, English language proficiency. Each aspect is assessed on a 10-point system. The candidates are ranked; persons with the highest points (but no less than 20) are admitted.
