Admission Requirements
- Completed university bachelor’s degree studies in the molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, genetics and microbiology field of the life sciences study field group or biotechnology field of the technological study field group.
- Experimental research bachelor thesis in the area of molecular biology or similar.
- At least 30 ECTS credits (no less than 5–7 course units) in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry and genetics earned in bachelor studies. Candidates shall possess a bachelor studies cumulative grade point average of no less than 70 per cent to be admitted.
- All of the following course units taken: molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, genetics.
- Admission score (A) is calculated based on the following formula:
- A = 0.4D+0.3M + 0.3Th
- D = the following course units’ (or their equivalents’) grade average (bachelor’s diploma or its equivalent): molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, genetics;
- M = motivational letter (evaluated from 1 to 100 per cent);
- Th = the grade of the bachelor thesis in molecular biology or similar.
- The admission score of the successful candidate – no less than 70 per cent. All points shall be converted into a 100 per cent rating scale.
- Those meeting the requirements shall be invited to a motivational interview. The motivational interview will take place on 16 April or 18 June 2024 and will be organised remotely. The following are evaluated during the interview: the factors that led to choosing the programme, the vision of professional future, the English language proficiency.
