BEng (Hons) Electronic and Electrical Engineering with Integrated Foundation Year

Electronic and electrical engineering impacts almost every aspect of our lives – including renewables, electricity generation, transmission and distribution, transport, control, computation, communication and satellite communication.

This BEng (Hons) Electronic and Electrical Engineering degree exposes you to a broad range of topics in the large and rapidly growing fields of Electronics, Photonics and Electrical Engineering. This course takes a practical approach to learning, with a syllabus designed in partnership with local businesses to ensure you are ready for the industry when you graduate.

You will complete multiple design-build-test challenges during your degree which test your theoretical engineering understanding and practical skills. These challenges start with a design brief, to which you must apply the Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate (CDIO) engineering cycle.
