About Luiss University

To further expand its international academic offer and provide students with high-impact learning experiences, Luiss has developed a series of graduate-level Summer School programs. These five courses — International Relations, Management, Corporate Finance, Marketing, and Data Science — are designed for ambitious students and young professionals who wish to deepen their expertise in key areas of global relevance. Each program combines intensive coursework with real-world case studies, taught by leading academics and practitioners, and follows the same high academic standards as Luiss bachelor’s and master’s programs. These short-term courses offer participants the opportunity to experience life at Luiss while developing valuable skills in a truly international context.
In addition, Luiss offers a Foundation Program specifically tailored for international students preparing to begin undergraduate studies. This comprehensive program supports students in their transition to university life in Italy, providing essential academic preparation in subjects such as economics, politics, and law, as well as Italian language and culture. With a focus on personalized learning and intercultural exchange, the Foundation Program is an ideal gateway to Luiss’ rigorous academic environment and its broader international community.

Yes. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum English language proficiency of B2 CEFR, certified by a recognised test issued no more than three years prior to application. Only the final level indicated on the certificate (B2, C1, or C2) will be considered; interim levels are not valid.
Candidates who completed their entire undergraduate studies in English will automatically be assigned a presumed B2 level. However, in order to be considered for a higher level (and any associated benefits), one of the accepted certificates showing that level must be uploaded during the application process.
Please note: if you apply for a programme taught in Italian, you must provide a certificate showing at least B2 proficiency in Italian at the time of enrolment.
