With over 11,000 students, the University offers a stimulating and multicultural environment that fosters academic and personal growth. Approximately 10% of students are international students, representing 117 different countries. From an academic point of view, Luiss offers a teacher-student ratio of one to seven, which is particularly favourable compared to the national average of one to twenty-one. This ensures a high level of interaction and personal attention. The faculty consists of around 1,600 lecturers, including 137 Core Faculty members, and has a significant female (33%) and international (17% of the total Core Faculty) component. This mix of global expertise is enriched by the presence of (on average) 30 visiting professors per year, who contribute to broadening academic and research perspectives. Surrounded by the modern architecture of theLuiss Campuses students experience the vibrant spirit of university life, where academic excellence merges with a dynamic social scene. Thanks to these activities, the employment rate of Luiss graduates stands at 96% one year after graduation, rising to 98% after five years. Yes. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum English language proficiency of B2 CEFR, certified by a recognised test issued no more than three years prior to application. Only the final level indicated on the certificate (B2, C1, or C2) will be considered; interim levels are not valid.
Candidates who completed their entire undergraduate studies in English will automatically be assigned a presumed B2 level. However, in order to be considered for a higher level (and any associated benefits), one of the accepted certificates showing that level must be uploaded during the application process. Please note: if you apply for a programme taught in Italian, you must provide a certificate showing at least B2 proficiency in Italian at the time of enrolment.
