Political Science (Language: Italian)

The Bachelor's Degree Programme in Political Science (Scienze Politiche) at Luiss University provides comprehensive knowledge, methodologies and analytical tools for understanding contemporary political reality through an interdisciplinary approach. The programme integrates multiple fields including economics, statistics, political science, philosophy, law, sociology and history, preparing students to navigate complex global challenges.

Academic Structure

The programme is structured over three years (180 ECTS) and offers two distinct majors in the third year.

Major in International and Global Studies provides advanced education on global dynamics, international relations and international public policy. Students develop the skills necessary to operate effectively in transnational contexts and address the challenges of global governance. Core courses are taught with at least one delivered in English, ensuring both specialized knowledge and international preparation.

Major in Government and Public Policy focuses on governance mechanisms, decision-making processes and public policy analysis. The programme develops professionals capable of working effectively in government institutions and public service, with a comprehensive understanding of policy design, implementation and evaluation.
