Biotechnology applies principles of chemistry, biochemistry, and biology to study and engineer living organisms or their parts for applications in medicine, agriculture, environmental systems and industry. Explore areas such as genetic and metabolic engineering, designer drugs, novel foods, regenerative medicine, and applied microbiology and fermentation. Beyond lab skills, you’ll gain entrepreneurial skills and regulatory compliance knowledge to bring scientific discoveries to market. Extensive hands-on training will prepare you for work in a fast-paced and growing employment sector.
