The Bachelor of Elementary Education is an undergraduate teacher education degree program designed to prepare individuals intending to teach in the elementary level. The program aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the context and pedagogy for elementary education.
The degree program draws from various allied disciplines like social sciences, science, math, technology, languages, and humanities to ensure that the graduates have a multi-disciplinary preparation in content and pedagogy.
After successful completion of all academic requirements of the degree/program, graduates of BEEd should be able to practice the teaching profession in the elementary level. The program, Bachelor of Elementary Education, offers high quality education not only in meeting the need of the community upon providing competent individuals, but also supporting studies upon uplifting the quality education of the country. In instruction, the campus has high caliber faculties who are competent and knowledgeable upon training the student-teachers to be at their best in-campus and off campus. In research, the students and faculties have existing collaborative researches that would contribute to the betterment of the department and the campus. There are planned activities that would promote research involvement between faculties and students. In extension, the program promotes connection to other agencies/ departments to hone its students. And as a result, “Story Telling” among different adopted schools was born. Student-teachers as well as the faculties offers literacy among learners of the partner schools. The department continuously provide competent individuals as a product upon meeting the need of the community and the country.
