The BIP master's degree offers two specialized M1 courses, one in Animal Physiology and Human Pathologies (PAPH) and the other in Plant Sciences (SV).

The PAPH course then gives access to 7 research courses in M2: Reproduction and Development ( ReproDev ), Biology of Aging ( BioVie ), Nutrition, Energy Metabolism, Signaling ( NuMéSi ), Vascular Biology Atherosclerosis Thrombosis and Hemostasis ( BiVATH ), Red Blood Cell Epithelium: Interface Structure ( ESI ), Biology, Physiology and Pharmacology of Respiration and Sleep ( B2PRS ).

The SV course provides access to the Master 2 “Plant Sciences” which offers a research route (Plant Sciences, in English) and a professional route (Innovations in Quality of Plant Production or IQPV), shared with Paris Saclay.

Students graduating from the BIP Master's degree have in-depth knowledge and mastery of experimental approaches for studying the complex functioning of living organisms and their disturbances in relation to the environment or pathologies. They have the professional skills required for research and business careers : critical and synthetic analysis of information, presentation of results and projects, ability to argue / debate / organize and lead a discussion, management of group work, implementation of a scientific approach.

The professional opportunities of the training are either a doctorate or a BAC+5 management position. The theoretical and methodological aspects covered in the training allow integration into various environments: public research organizations (CNRS, INSERM, INRA, universities, etc.), companies (health, agri-food, biotechnologies, cosmetics, plant protection/improvement, seeds, etc.) or technical agencies and institutes.
