The Bioinformatics Master's degree Platform Engineering in Biology (IPFB) trains highly qualified specialists in cutting-edge technological platforms with dual skills in platform biology and bioinformatics.

This advanced training meets the current needs of recruiters. It provides the essential foundations for conducting large-scale, complex and transdisciplinary biology research projects in the private and public sectors.

This training, unique at the national and international level, combines translational theoretical teaching in various fields, including imaging, cytometry and omics (genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, proteomics, metabolomics, etc.) and practical experience. in one of these areas.

It takes place at the University of Paris but also on the various sites of the network of partner platforms in the Ile de France region in collaboration with 70% of professionals.

In this training, the first year of the IPFB Master is the M1 Computational Biology - Biology Platform Engineering course (M1 BI-IPFB) which is a newly created, solid and interdisciplinary training, at the interface of biology and computer science, providing students with essential skills to propose innovative solutions in order to deal with projects related to bioinformatics and platforms in biology. The dual skills provided by the M1 BI-IPFB constitutes the essential foundation for the course of the Master 2 Platform Engineering in Biology (M2 IPFB).

The second year of the IPFB Master is the M2 Biology Platform Engineering course (M2IPFB) which provides training in the technologies of various platforms in biology, both in biology and in the management and processing of data by bioinformatics. Learning the concepts of management, management and administration of platforms contributes to the originality of this training.

This academic program is part of the Graduate School Translational Bioinformatics of Université Paris Cité, connecting master's and doctoral courses with advanced research laboratories. The Graduate School trains students in cutting-edge bioinformatics techniques to prepare them for emerging challenges in health and personalized medicine.
