The curriculum of the Department of Industrial Management and Technology at the University of Piraeus is designed to combine management science with technological expertise. It is a four-year undergraduate program (240 ECTS) that focuses on the science of Production Management and the application of new technologies within production systems. The program is structured into two main streams of study, one responding to quantitative & technical subjects, which includes Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Statistics, and Operational Research and one treating socio-economic & management subjects, focusing on Industrial Management, Business Administration, Human Factor studies, and Economics.
The Department’s primary goal is to equip students with the scientific methodology needed to analyze, design, and organize complex industrial systems. Graduates are prepared to serve as executives in both private and public sectors, specializing in areas such as Logistics, Project Management, and Energy Management
