The Pharmacolotoxicology program is one of the core specializations within the biological sciences. It focuses on studying the chemical and biological interactions of drugs and toxins on living organisms. The program equips students with the knowledge to understand drug interactions and their effects on organs and biological systems, as well as the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the action of drugs and toxins. Graduates are qualified to work in poison control centers, the pharmaceutical industry, and drug regulatory agencies.Through this program, students will explore all aspects of the development, production, and evaluation of drugs and bioactive molecules. The main components of the program are grounded in core disciplines such as toxicology, pharmacology, biochemistry, immunology, and the pharmacology of fundamental mechanisms at the cellular and molecular levels. It also includes orientations in bioengineering, quality control, and laboratory management.

Admission Requirements

Rdmission requires a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or an equivalent recognized qualification through the national placement system.
