Training Objectives: Electronics is present in all fields. The almost systematic digitization of information is challenging traditional areas such as telephony and automation. The growing success of the internet, mobile phones, and communication networks requires significant infrastructure that will only continue to expand in the future. Technological breakthroughs in the manufacturing of cells produced with standard silicon wafers are constantly improving. The efficiency of these cells should ultimately enable us to offer a real alternative to fossil fuels. Furthermore, high-tech sectors such as aeronautics, automotive, robotics, modern medicine, and space are excessive consumers of electronic products. It is therefore essential to invest significant resources in this sector to develop the field of electronics through scientific research, equipment, and training. Investment in the human component is, in our view, by far the most fundamental and the guarantor of any societal development process. It is for this reason that this training is offered. This program aims to be a common melting pot without premature specialization, yet leading to a gradual diversification towards any existing or future Master's program in electronics in the broadest sense. This program, which falls within the field of Science and Technology, is based on the one hand on fundamental subjects (math, physics, chemistry, and computer science, representing 40%: 72/180 credits) and on the other hand on subjects closely related to electronics, namely: analog and digital electronics, servo control, power electronics, signal processing, etc. (87/180 credits, or nearly 50%). On another note, the teaching method in this program is resolutely experience-oriented. To this end, a large portion of the program is dedicated to practical sessions (25% of the total number of hours): almost all specialized subjects are reinforced by practical sessions. At the same time, students are trained in teamwork to foster autonomy, a sense of responsibility, and initiative through training that includes a Professional and Business Management Project and a Final Year Project.
Targeted Profiles and Skills: This Bachelor's degree in Electronics is academically oriented. Its primary objective is to: 1/- Train students capable of pursuing all types of existing Master's degrees in electronics, or even later, a doctorate. 2/- Acquire a degree recognized by the socio-economic community (regional and national) and adapt to the current and future needs of our society. Indeed, this program is a springboard for a very wide range of electronics careers (space exploration, automotive, radio, television, telephony, medicine, robotics, imaging, industrial computing, embedded systems, etc.). Training in this field therefore offers numerous professional opportunities in a wide variety of industries.

Admission Requirements

10+
Admission to a Bachelor's degree program at an Algerian university is primarily contingent upon successfully obtaining the Baccalauréat, the national secondary school leaving certificate. The specific minimum score required on this exam, along with the required major or stream (e.g., Sciences, Literature, Technical), is determined annually by the Ministry of Higher Education for each field of study. Prospective students must then complete the centralized online application process, where they rank their university and program choices. Selection is competitive, with placement being offered based on Baccalauréat scores, the availability of spots in the desired program, and the order of the applicant's preferences.

Frequently Asked Questions

Electronics deals with signals and information, while Electrical Engineering deals with energy and power.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on practical skills with components and programming.
Excellent and diverse, in fields like embedded systems, robotics, and telecommunications. The market is not saturated for skilled engineers.
It can be challenging due to complex subjects like analog electronics and signals, but passion and practical practice make it manageable.
The best project for beginners is a simple one that combines programming and tangible electronics. I highly recommend starting with the Arduino platform.
