The objective of the Bachelor of Science in chemistry is to train students in both theory and practice of the major branches of chemistry. It prepares students for careers in diverse fields such as industries (chemical, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, metal and metal finishing, cement, petrochemicals, textiles, paints); environmental monitoring and protection; quality control and quality assurance; marketing and sales for chemicals and specialty chemicals; education; academic and industrial research.
