This program focuses on the following subjects:the theoretical principles of foundry, the foundry technologies of the non-ferrous metals, the metallurgy of lamellar cast iron and spheroidal graphite, the control of moulding materials, foundry properties of metals and alloys, design and computer-assisted manufacturing as well as the Mathematical Tools. In Semester 2, the subjects taught are technological and academic among others the Methodology of Casting and tooling design Foundry materials and equipment, the Casting processes in non-permanent moulds part imprint filling Development of cubilot cast iron Special feature of melting and casting of cast iron and alloy steels, the Heat and surface treatment of castings and art and jewellery foundries .In Semester 3, the materials are fundamental, the molding permanent and precision processes, aeronautical alloys and nuclear industry, Foundry Engineering, Modeling, Foundry Simulation and Rapid Prototyping, Control and quality assurance in foundry. This type of academic master’s degree has opportunities mainly in foundry industries. Semester 4 is devoted to the end-ter project.
