The training  is mainly oriented towards the study of matter in all its forms, properties and physico-chemical analysis techniques. It tries to equip the student with  a solid general and fundamental training as complete as possible in the fields of chemistry and to maintain a balance between the acquisition of fundamental knowledge in chemistry and a first contact with the methods of physico-chemicals used in laboratories and industry. This training is supported by courses in computer science, languages and statistics. It also allows the student to specialize in the chemistry of materials, thanks to an in-depth teaching and an end of study project. The multidisciplinary approach deals with the development and implementation of innovative materials and  their physical, chemical and mechanical properties as well as their industrial uses. The surface treatments of these materials are intended to improve the properties of use, corrosion resistance and durability while reducing the structural load.  It involves skills in physics, materials, mechanics and elaboration processes based on theoretical foundations and experimentation at each of these stages. There are many areas of application.
