Rapid development in the digital era has had a major impact on the business and economic world. Digital competence is no longer considered an added value, but has become a necessity. To answer this need, we are collaborating with Universitas Padjadjaran, which has expertise in economics and business, to create the Master of Digital Economy program. This double-degree master's program combines expertise in economics and business with information technology, especially data science. Program Advantages: The Master of Digital Economy is the first program in Indonesia to combine the strengths of private and public universities so that you can obtain the best lecture experience, including: Double Degree: Over two years or four semesters, you will graduate with two degrees at once, M.Kom. and M.E. With these degrees, you will have a competitive advantage in the job market. Combination of Expertise: The program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of economics and digital technology so that you become an expert in both fields. Experienced Lecturers: Our lecturers are experts with doctoral degrees and experience as lecturers and practitioners in their respective fields. With this competence, they can provide practical knowledge and real case studies in lectures. You will gain valuable experience that can be applied directly in the workplace. Structured Curriculum: Our curriculum is carefully designed to provide a deep understanding of digital economics and technology, especially related to data science. You will learn macroeconomics and microeconomics, informatics engineering, and complex problem-solving skills through a research approach. Industry-Based Research: We encourage you to conduct thesis research related to real cases from industry. This gives you hands-on experience in solving problems and creating solutions that are relevant to the industrial world. Period 2: Data Science for Economics and Business (4), Applied Econometrics in Digital Economy (3). Year 2, Semester 1, Period 1: Machine Learning (4), Indonesia Digital Economy Architecture (3). Period 2: Research Methodology (4), Special Topics in Applied Economics (3), Economics of Information Technology and Business Intelligence (4). Year 2, Semester 3, Period 1: Pre-Thesis (2), Deep Learning and Its Applications (4), Digital Finance (3). Period 2: Seminar 1 (1), Big Data Analytics (4), Digital Industry Strategy and Policy (3). Lecture System: The lecture system in the Master of Digital Economy program is designed to meet the needs of industry practitioners who want to develop their knowledge and expertise in digital economics. The program lasts for two years or four semesters. Lectures are delivered using a hybrid system, combining onsite classes and virtual classes via video conference. Because this program combines two campuses, you may choose to register with the BINUS Graduate Program if you live around Jabodetabek. You are required to attend onsite lectures at the BINUS campus for courses delivered by BINUS lecturers. For lectures delivered by Unpad lecturers, you may attend via video conference. Class schedule: Monday to Friday, 18:30 to 21:30 WIB. Session Types: During your study, you will attend two types of sessions: lecture sessions and enrichment sessions. Lecture sessions provide an in-depth understanding of important theories and concepts in digital economics. You will learn from experienced lecturers and experts in their respective fields. Lecture sessions will also include real case examples that allow you to connect theory with practice in the real world. Enrichment sessions involve practical activities such as the application of technology and the latest strategies in digital economics. Through these sessions, you will gain skills that can be applied directly in your workplace. Graduate Prospects: As a graduate of the Master of Digital Economy program, you will have promising career prospects in various industry sectors such as e-commerce, technology, business consulting, banking, digital marketing, and other fields involving the digital economy. Admission Requirements: Academic: required to take the TPA and interview. Language ability: TOEFL above 475. Educational background: open to all bachelor's degree and D4 graduates. Notes: if GPA is below 3.00, the minimum TPA score must be 450. Institutional TOEFL validation must still be valid within one year.
