The BINUS Interior Design Study Program @Malang prepares students to become creative design practitioners and thinkers, adaptive to technology, and have a concern for sustainability. In the midst of lifestyle changes, technological developments, and increasingly dynamic space needs, interior design not only plays a role in creating beautiful spaces, but also brings comfort, function, identity, and meaningful experiences to its users. Through the Smart Living & Sustainable Design approach, students are equipped with the ability to design spaces that are smart, environmentally friendly, and relevant to the needs of modern society. The learning process combines theory, studio practice with real case studies, material exploration with industry, learning about interior construction, aesthetic and ergonomic furniture design, deepening of design and culture, computational expertise for interior design, and understanding of the latest design trends. Students are also strengthened with entrepreneurial insights, collaboration with various industries, and sharing sessions with many well-known practitioners in the interior sector to be able to see opportunities, build business value, and determine their professional role in the industrial world. With the provision of creativity, digital technology, sensitivity to local wisdom, and understanding of sustainable design, graduates of the BINUS Interior Design Study Program @Malang ready to have a career as designers who are able to answer the world's challenges in the future.
