BSc in Economics, Management and Computer Science

This BSc is a unique program, at the cutting edge of today’s digital revolution. It prepares the new generation of digital talents, a generation in which the combination of quantitative skills and rigorous thinking is the key for success. Big data and the digital revolution are changing the world in which we live, impacting the decision- and policy-making of individuals, corporations, institutions and society as a whole. It is a program for young talents who wish to play a leading role in the data driven era of economics and management. New professional figures are steadily emerging on the market. Meeting these new challenges requires talents that combine strong quantitative skills with the rigorous thinking of the economic and management sciences. This BSc is for students eager to know the language of machine learning and to be able to exploit the rich informational content of big data. The program provides a solid quantitative background in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, which is the basis to comprehend complex algorithms, and to unveil the strategic role that data play to support modern decision-making in business and economics. Our program is organized in a single international class group. In the third year, students will personalize their study plan by choosing electives in their preferred subjects, spending a semester abroad at one of Bocconi’s many prestigious partner universities, and taking part in scientific and business seminars.
