Emphasis is placed on the role that exercise, health promotion and nutrition contribute to this end. The course includes a series of fundamental science-based modules in human physiology, nutrition, biochemistry and psychology. This course is accredited by the Royal Society of Biology for the purpose of meeting in part the academic and experience requirement for Membership and Chartered Biologist (CBiol).
