During the course, you will investigate how emerging technologies – including invisible interfaces, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Edge and Cloud Computing – change the way users interact with software, hardware and the ever increasing amount of data we’re presented with. You will look at industry-relevant aspects of software development, including project lifecycles, budget and proposal development, the role of the prototype, and the practical application of production processes to develop client-centred projects. Upon graduation, you will be professionally prepared to contribute to multi-disciplinary teams as an information architect, in the field of prototype application and website development, and in usability testing and interaction design – applying best practices in design to the production of interactive software products or systems.
