The department offers Ph.D. program where lots of emphasis on such training of students as can bring out their inner capabilities and lead to their full growth and development. Enough emphasis has been put on their hands-on training for which the department has well-equipped laboratories, the theory of machines, strength of materials, heat & mass transfer, refrigeration, and air conditioning, and a central workshop.
