The undergraduate program in Mathematics was introduced the undergraduate course in 2009. The f ocus of the program and the faculty therein is on various fields like Fuzzy Logic and Applications, Fixed point theory, Topology, Numerical Analysis, Differential Geometry of Manifolds, Cosmology, Finsler Geometry, Fractional Calculus and Seismology etc. The BSc program in Mathematics is constantly updated and new courses are introduced in the field of Mathematics and applicable mathematics, so as to stand in the front-line curriculum of the other reputed universities and institutions of the country. The faculty members of the program have good academic record and have collaborative / interactive research works with many eminent mathematicians of India as well as abroad. The faculty members of the department are also reviewers and referees of many National as well as international reputed Mathematical journals. Recently a number of students of UG and PG from the program have qualified reputed national level competitive examinations such as NET, GATE, JAM etc.
The vision of the program is to become a Centre of Excellence in teaching, learning and research, bring out the potential of students by providing quality teaching, increase global linkages by attracting foreign students and establishing collaborative research programs and to work for well being of humankind through the study of Mathematical sciences.

Age should not be more than 22 years for Under Graduate Program
Date of Entrance Test, Test method, Application fee, Entrance Test centre, Admission procedure etc. will be notified by National Testing Agency (NTA) from time to time and the same may be uploaded on the University website www.ggu.ac.in. Therefore, it is suggested to all applicants that they have to visit NTA website, CUET links and www.new.ggu.ac.in regularly.
Every year foreign nationals admitted in Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalay are
to be selected in the following category:
1. Self-Financing Mode
i. Through entrance examination and/or viva-voce (except Ph.D
programme)
ii. Through ‘In Absentia’.
2. Under Twining Degree Programme (as and when the University
approves)
3. Under Joint Degree Programme (as and when the University
approves)
4. As Casual Students to audit/credit the course (without award of
any degree).
