Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution; preference will be given to those who majored in Chinese (language, literature, culture) or have taken Chinese-related courses.

Applicants who graduated from a university where instruction was not taught in Chinese must meet the following Chinese language proficiency requirements:

  • Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) Chinese Language Level 3; or
  • HSK Level 5; or
  • The Level 2B of the Putonghua Proficiency Test (PSC) formulated by the State Language Commission; or
  • Other equivalent Chinese language test certificates.
