The College of Engineering (COE) was set up in 2008 with the vision "To be well-recognized for engineering education, cutting-edge research and services to the society integrated with genuine Islamic values and principles". It provides a common regulatory platform for professional education in the field of engineering aiming to achieve national and international accreditation of degree programs offered under its umbrella. It consists of Department of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering. COE offers leading-edge programs to teach design, application and innovation skills in its students by utilizing and involving their curiosity, intelligence and creativity. The mission of the COE is to prepare graduates for entry into engineering practice and graduate programs by providing an excellent educational environment which ensures the intellectual, professional and personal growth of the students. The college also strives to meet the challenges of innovative research for the social and industrial needs.
