The “Economics of the Real Sector” Master’s program is designed to train specialists capable of analyzing, modeling, and managing economic processes in key production industries. The program focuses on modern methods of economic analysis, sectoral economics, investment planning, and sustainable development of enterprises in the real sector. Students gain skills in strategic management, forecasting, project efficiency assessment, market analysis, and evaluation of production systems. Special attention is given to digital technologies applied in industry, energy, logistics, and other essential sectors of the economy. Graduates are prepared to work in industrial companies, analytical centers, government institutions, as well as energy and logistics organizations. Admission Requirements

Admission of foreign citizens to METU on a fee-paying basis is carried out based on the results of an interview conducted by the METU Admission Committee throughout the calendar year. Enrollment of foreign citizens is carried out in accordance with the academic calendar, no later than 5 (five) days before the start of the next academic period (admission before the start of the 2nd semester is allowed). Documents in a foreign language must be submitted with a notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian. Educational documents issued by foreign educational institutions are subject to the recognition procedure in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan after the applicant’s enrollment, within the first academic period of study.

The university assists in obtaining a student visa only after all foreign applicants have completed the mandatory verification procedures in accordance with the requirements of the relevant legislation.
Yes, all students who require dormitory accommodation will be placed in the “Studhouse METU” dormitory or in dormitories and student hostels of nearby universities. For the safety of residents, the dormitories are under 24-hour security, equipped with video surveillance, access control, and a concierge service to prevent unauthorized entry.
