The “Accounting and Auditing” educational program is designed to train qualified specialists in accounting, business activity analysis, internal and external auditing, and financial control. The program combines fundamental economic disciplines with practice-oriented study of modern accounting and analytical methods, international financial reporting standards, and accounting process automation technologies. During the program, students master modern financial and management accounting methods, audit procedures, and financial risk assessment, as well as develop skills in working with professional software such as 1C, Excel, and ERP systems. Special emphasis is placed on developing analytical thinking, interpreting financial information, and preparing reports in accordance with legal requirements and international standards. Graduates are capable of professionally managing accounting, preparing and analyzing financial statements, conducting audits, ensuring internal control, and participating in management decision-making. The acquired knowledge and skills enable successful careers in commercial organizations, government bodies, auditing and consulting firms, and financial departments of various enterprises. The program is conducted in accordance with ACCA requirements, for which the university holds an official license. Students study courses aligned with international standards and, upon completion, receive an intermediate ACCA diploma, significantly enhancing their professional and international competitiveness.

Admission of foreign citizens to METU on a fee-paying basis is carried out based on the results of an interview conducted by the METU Admission Committee throughout the calendar year. Enrollment of foreign citizens is carried out in accordance with the academic calendar, no later than 5 (five) days before the start of the next academic period (admission before the start of the 2nd semester is allowed). Documents in a foreign language must be submitted with a notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian. Educational documents issued by foreign educational institutions are subject to the recognition procedure in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan after the applicant’s enrollment, within the first academic period of study.

Yes, all students who require dormitory accommodation will be placed in the “Studhouse METU” dormitory or in dormitories and student hostels of nearby universities. For the safety of residents, the dormitories are under 24-hour security, equipped with video surveillance, access control, and a concierge service to prevent unauthorized entry.
