Sport stands for passion and fun. At the same time, behind clubs, individual athletes and associations, there is one of the most profitable branches of the economy. What does product marketing look like for the new jersey, how do you market sporting events and how is eSports developing further? In order to plan, market and implement sporting and economic success, sports managers are needed, for example, in clubs, agencies or at sports equipment manufacturers.

The sports management bachelor's degree focuses on the practical teaching of course content. Whether sports marketing, sports product management or management of international sports events - the sports management course combines comprehensive business administration content with specific specialist knowledge from the sports industry such as professional sports management, sports marketing and the marketing of global sports products. You will learn how companies are managed and marketed and you can combine your passion for sports and sports topics with your management career.

Through integrated internships with an international focus at home and abroad, workshops, sports camps and experienced lecturers from business, you will experience sports management up close and can apply your knowledge directly in practice.

  • €5,280 in Dortmund, Cologne, Stuttgart and Berlin (from SS 2023: €5,480)
  • €5,480 in Frankfurt/Main, Munich and Hamburg
  • Language of instruction 100% English: additional €100 per semester (not applicable from SS 2023)

  • a professional qualification (e.g. master’s certificate),
