İstanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University Faculty of Dentistry founded in 2011 and teaching started in 2012.

There have been remarkable changes in dentistry in the last decades and the İYYU Faculty of Dentistry has been instrumental in these advances in the oral health sciences FİELD. We are well prepared to make significant contributions to our profession’s body of knowledge through our experienced and active faculty, outstanding curriculum, research and public service.

Our curriculum aims; to train dentists who are equipped with the latest theoretical and practical knowledge, who practice best oral and dental treatment, who takes care of community health, give importance to ethical behavior, who have the highest level of clinical knowledge and experience and sensitive to scientific developments and technology.

Academic and education facilities are consisted of medical and dental laboratories located in the Cevizlibağ Campus of our University and the Dental Hospital which is operating at Halıcıoğlu/Beyoğlu since 2015. In the Dental Hospital academic, educational and public facilities are perfectly based on great academic substructure of the Faculty of Dentistry.

Finally, our priorities to be highlighted in the next five years are;

1. Enhancing the student experience

2. Amplifying the research productivity

3. Increasing the community Involvement.

The overall outcome of our strategic priorities will be to further establish the role of the İYYU Faculty of Dentistry in improving the oral health of the people of Turkish Republic.

'Practice, Theory and Research'

Training period is 5 years.

Training language is Turkish.

Training program is as follows:

First 3 years basic medical and dental sciences studies and lectures are integrated.

Last 2 years, clinic internship training and integrated clinical education will be done within the scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Pedodontics, Periodontology, Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry.

Class passing system is applied in the education of dentistry. Early initiation of student-patient clinical practice is an important motivation for dental training and provides quicker clinical skills. Our program is based on clinical training of dental students face to face wih the teaching staff.

The foreign language prepatory class is optional, but basic and vocational foreign language education is provided throughout the course.

Our University provides scholarship opportunities to successful students.

The clinical sub-structure of the Faculty of Dentistry constitutes the Dental Hospital, which started to serve in Halıcıoğlu in 2015. There are 8 clinical departments, 2 operating theaters, 1 integrated clinic, 2 laboratories, 4 classrooms where students are theoretically and practically trained, There is a conference hall,library and student/faculty member dining room and cafeteria. There is a prosthetic laboratory, a phantom laboratory and classrooms in the Cevizlibağ campus. High quality of education and health service with strong structure of the İstanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University, Faculty of Dentistry contributes to overcome health problems in our country and region.

Graduates of the dental school take the title of 'Dentist' and they can work in all public and private institutions such as university hospitals, state hospitals and private clinics or dental offices etc.

Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University Faculty of Dentistry has adopted the vision of becoming one of the most modern education and health institutions in Turkey.

A. To provide high qualiy training program in dentisry.

B. To contribute the quality of dental education by using new training systems and latest technology in dentistry,

C. To provide graduate (MD) and specialty programs for dentists,

D. To provide the most healthy treatment services based on modern and advanced technology in the field of oral medicine,

E. To increase the quality of oral and dental health of the society and to implement preventive dentistry in our society,

F. To make scientific research and development activities and publish in high-level scientific journals,

G. To make academic cooperation with international universities and have international recognition.

H. To open international graduate and doctorate programs for international students,
