The program has multi-disciplinary nature consisting of courses from health sciences, social sciences, engineering disciplines. It is designed with courses from the "Health" discipline such as occupational diseases, health management, occupational epidemiology and occupational hygiene, first aid, occupational psychology, food safety according to sectors. The legislation that Occupational Health and Safety Specialists are obliged to implement within workplace management systems is given under the umbrella of professional law, together with the boundaries drawn by work, occupational health and safety, social insurance and criminal law and the relevant regulations, and is constantly renewed with current regulations. In addition to our Professional Law courses, Environmental and Health Law courses are also given. Under the discipline of Security Engineering, in addition to courses in different fields such as Mining, Construction, Electrical Work, Ergonomics, Working with Hazardous Materials and Logistics, Working in Radiated Environments, the Security Engineering Methods course is included in the four-year education and is supported by sector applications. In order to direct our graduates to specialize in certain fields, studies within different professional groups are considered important and are supported by internships in order to take part in field applications. Among the scientific methods of protecting employees from the risks of the work environment, which is one of the most important proactive professional practices, Risk Analysis, Risk Assessment, Risk Management, Emergency Plans and Fire courses are included as compulsory courses in the four-year basic education.
