The Bachelor of Science in Smart and Sustainable Cities program attempts to investigate and provide smart and sustainable creative solutions to city problems and aims towards shaping and smartly managing the current and future urban environment. Thus, Smart city planners utilize recent technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) to develop innovative solutions by moving systematically through a process involving defining goals, analyzing real-time data and information, formulating plans, setting priorities, and designing programs of action. The program helps each student to acquire an interdisciplinary education that leads to an understanding of the physical environment and its economic, social, and environmental factors, with their problems and potentialities to improve the quality of life in cities and achieve Vision 2030.

  • The applicant must be a high school graduate (General, Computer Science and Engineering, Health and Life) or international school graduate (Natural Sciences) in the current year or the previous year.
  • The student must submit a General Aptitude Test (Qudrat) score; the student is entitled to use the test result obtained in the year of admission or the previous two years.
  • The student must submit an Achievement Test (Tahisili) score; the student is entitled to use the test result obtained in the year of admission or the previous year.
  • The student must submit an English language test and obtain a score of 55 or above in the STEP test or its equivalent in the TOEFL or IELTS tests.
