Overview

The Master of Arts (MA) in English program at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) is an advanced postgraduate program designed to promote specialized academic research, critical literary analysis, and advanced linguistic theory. It deepens students' understanding of diverse literary traditions, theoretical frameworks, and the complex roles of the English language in global and local contexts.

The program extends over 4 semesters and consists of 40 credit hours. The M.A. program emphasizes intensive textual engagement, independent scholarly research, and critical discourse.
