The Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Master of Engineering (M.Engg.) in Textile Engineering (TE) at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) are advanced-level postgraduate programs designed to develop high-level expertise, research capability, and innovation in the textile and apparel industries.

Entry Requirements (for TE Program)

  1. Academic Qualification
    • Candidates must hold a B.Sc. in Engineering degree in ICT, CSE, EEE, ETE, ECE, or an equivalent discipline from any recognized university.
    • Applicants must have obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 (or equivalent).
    • The bachelor’s degree must be of at least four (4) years’ duration and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh.
    • Candidates possessing degrees from foreign universities must have equivalency certified by the UGC.
  2. Current Postgraduate Students
    • Candidates currently enrolled in any M.Sc. (Engg.) or M.Engg. program at a recognized institution may also apply.
  3. Application Fee
    • A non-refundable fee of BDT 1000 (One Thousand Taka) must be paid during the application process.
  4. Selection Procedure
    • All applicants are required to appear in a written admission test.
    • Final selection will be based on the admission test performance and previous academic records.
