The Master of Arts (M.A.) in Religious Studies (Thesis) offered by the Department of Religious Studies in the Faculty of Arts is a research-intensive program that emphasizes tailored and intensive learning opportunities. The program may also be taken as one of the following options:
Bioethics option: combines course work, a bioethics practicum and a Master's thesis on bioethics. Through this option, students develop the conceptual frameworks and tools to address fundamental questions about life and the interventions by healthcare in research, policy and practice.
Gender and Women's Studies option: is available for those who wish to focus their research on gender-related issues and feminist research and methodologies. Students in this option produce thesis on a topic that significantly engages with issues of gender and/or women and/or feminism
