The following categories of candidates are welcome to apply for admission to the PhD in Oral Health Sciences program:
  • Candidates who completed a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., health sciences, social sciences, engineering, etc.) with a CGPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • Candidates currently enrolled in the MSc Dental Sciences (Thesis) program at McGill who excel in coursework (CGPA of 3.5 or higher) and who engage in promising research. These candidates may be invited to apply to the PhD program via the fast-track path after only 1 year of Master’s level studies.   • Academically exceptional candidates who completed a Bachelor’s degree (BSc or a DMD/DDS) with a CGPA of 3.5 or higher and have strong research experience, including a publication record. These candidates may be accepted directly into the PhD program
