The Instrument Performance (by Types) program is designed to provide comprehensive professional training in solo, ensemble, and orchestral performance across major categories of musical instruments. The program develops highly skilled performers with strong technical mastery, artistic interpretation, and stage competence, while also fostering theoretical knowledge, musical literacy, and pedagogical foundations.
The curriculum combines intensive practical instruction with music theory, history, and performance studies. Students receive individualized training in their principal instrument while gaining experience in chamber music, orchestral/ensemble work, and public performance.
The program is structured according to instrument groups (“types”), allowing for specialization while maintaining a unified foundation in professional musicianship.

When applying to higher education institutions, applicants submit the following documents: 1. Passport or ID card - An official document confirming identity when applying. 2. Document confirming secondary education - For those who graduated from a lyceum, college or school in previous years. For those who graduated from school this year, the graduation certificate is obtained electronically from the database by the applicants. 3. If there is a privilege, a document confirming it - For example: certificate, award, letter of recommendation, etc. - The appropriate document is required depending on the type of privilege. Documents are submitted online via the my.uzbmb.uz platform. Block of compulsory subjects: 1) Native language 2) Mathematics 3) History of Uzbekistan There are 10 questions in each of the three subjects, 1.1 points are awarded for each. The total score that can be scored in the compulsory block is 33 points. Subjects in the specialty block corresponding to the direction of education: Subject 1 - 30 questions, 3.1 points for each; Subject 2 - 30 questions, 2.1 points for each. The total score that can be scored in the specialty subject is 156 points.

Graduates of the Instrument Performance program are prepared for careers in both performance and music education. They may work as solo performers, members of orchestras or ensembles, chamber musicians, or accompanists. Many graduates also become instructors in music schools, colleges, or conservatories, while others participate in cultural and artistic projects. The program also provides a strong foundation for continuing studies at the master’s level in performance, conducting, or music pedagogy.
