The Saveetha Advanced Radio Imaging Centre, the medical imaging wing of the hospital offers X-rays, mammography, CT and MR scan at low cost to all patients comparable to government run institutions in the entire country. Ultrasound scans are done with nominal charges. Inpatients, who cannot afford even the minimal cost, the entire gamut of radiological investigations are performed free of cost. The Department of Radiology at Saveetha Medical College is a dynamic area with ever-improving facilities. We provide patient centric imaging services using state of the art technology at affordable cost. Our imaging centre, on a daily average caters to 300 inpatients and outpatients by performing 300 X rays, 260 Ultrasound, 60 CT, 20 MRI studies and 10 radiological procedures including vascular and nonvascular image-guided interventions.
