The Department of Chemical Engineering was established in the year 2018 and it offers B.Tech - Chemical Engineering from the academic year 2018–2019 with an intake of 60 students. Chemical Engineering is one of the most popular branches of engineering which deals with the large-scale production of chemicals, petrochemicals, biochemicals, food preservation, electronic materials, pharmaceuticals, materials of everyday life, energy, environment etc. The department periodically organizes workshops, training programs and conferences in many emerging thrust areas. Industrial visits, In-plant training and Internship are arranged periodically to gain technical skills for students. Personality development training programs are conducted in the third and final year of study so as to equip the students for placement. Guidance is given for competitive exams such as GATE, GRE, etc. Synergies the effort of the student and faculty to evolve innovative engineering practices and teaching methodologies to create an environment for continuous learning and research.
