About School of Architecture, Southeast University

The Southeast University School of Architecture (SEU) was founded in 1927 and is a pioneer in architectural research and education. Its teaching focuses on critically and speculatively examining established experience and knowledge, striving to open up innovative exploration in architectural theory. 

The School of Architecture covers three main disciplines including architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture in bachelor’s, master’s and doctor's degree programmes. Their architecture programmes cover a range of topics including architectural design and theory, architectural history and heritage conservation, building science and technology, urban design and theory, architectural algorithm and application, and interior design and theory. In addition, the university offers specialised programmes in heritage protection and a master's degree in fine arts.  

The university is located in the city of Nanjing , Jiangsu Province. Lying on the south bank of the Yangtze River, it is one of the most delightful destinations in China. It has a brilliant cultural heritage, being known as the capital city of six or ten dynasties in ancient Chinese history. It is therefore a major centre of culture, education, research, politics, economy, transport networks and tourism, being the home to one of the world's largest inland ports.
