In the early years, students attended their courses in the buildings of Technical Institute of Sulaimani (TIS) before moving into the new campus in (2007) which is located in Chwar Chra district.
Mission:
The main goal of this department is to prepare students for the field of communication engineering. To teach them how to deal with the cutting-edge technology of today’s world and empowering them to work in the companies that are specialized in the area of communication engineering. Students who graduate from this department, will be granted with the degree of Bachelor of Sciences (BSc) in Communication Engineering and will be able to become members of the Union of Kurdistan Engineers Syndicate.
