The B.S. in Systems and Information Science (SIS) is an interdisciplinary course of study jointly offered by the College of Engineering and the School of Information Studies (iSchool). The SIS program keeps students on the leading edge, combining mastery of the most advanced technologies and system methodologies with comprehension of the ever-changing, dynamic business environment. SIS students gain hands-on experience in design-oriented laboratories, focusing on new applications of computing techniques. The program integrates engineering design, theory, and practice within the social and organizational contexts in which these complex digital information systems will be employed.
