The Mathematics Program constitutes one of the oldest programs in the university, as it came into existence with the establishment of the university. In general, the Mathematics Program has an announced, stated and approved mission along with specific goals, which are closely linked to the mission, vision, and goals of Taif University, the College of Science, and the Department of Mathematics. In addition, with strict adherence, they are committed to the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The program's mission and objectives were approved with the inception of the university, as it was approved in its new version under the umbrella of the programmatic transformation projects of Taif University with its compatibility with the procedures proposed by the University Development Deanship at the university. The objectives of the program are linked to its mission and are consistent with the objectives of the institution/college and are characterized by clarity and realism as well as measurability. These goals and their implementation needs are linked to appropriate operational plans consistent with the plans of the university/college. Additionally, program managers monitor the extent to which goals are accomplished via specific performance indicators and take the necessary actions to enhance performance. The program's mission and objectives guide all its operations and activities along with being developed and reviewed periodically with the participation of all relevant stakeholders to achieve program quality assurance. Program management and all quality assurance processes can also be considered at the institutional level, and therefore everything that applies to the institution (university/college) applies accordingly to the mathematics program.
