The Civil Engineering Department offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. As per the regulations of Taif University, all students are required to maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 (grade C) out of 4.0 to remain in good academic standing. Failure to maintain this average will result in scholastic probation, and students will have two semesters to achieve a GPA of 2.0 (grade C). If the minimum GPA requirement is not met within the two probationary semesters, the student may be dismissed from the College of Engineering. However, there is a final opportunity for a third semester during which students can raise their GPA if they successfully complete 12 credit hours and achieve a minimum average grade of B. It is important to note that failure to attain the minimum GPA of 2.0 (grade C) will result in the student not being granted the degree sought.
