The Architecture Engineering Program was established in 2018-2019 academic year. The program is currently running under the Department of Civil Engineering. It was established for economic, social, cultural, developmental, and technological reasons as well as enhancing the engineering profession in Saudi Arabia.
The total Credit Hours for completing the program is 152 credit hours, that is achieved by 6000 learning hours, which is the length of time that a learner takes to complete learning activities which lead to the achievement of the program learning outcomes. Such contact hours include lectures, labs, workshops, homework assignments, projects, preparing presentations, library hours.
AEP is run under the management of The Department of Civil Engineering, which was established in 1430 AH (2008), offers two programs, a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and the bachelor of science in architectural engineering, which accepts both male and female students. As of 2024 the program will have graduated two classes.
