As such, Ph.D Program in School of Pharmacy is a rigorous extension of Master Program and renders an excellent opportunity to the students to broaden their horizon. The program involves an integration of the course work with the mutually designed research work (student and the supervisor) and provides an exhaustive exposure of technology-delivered training to the students. Specifically, research is conducted in the areas of anticancer drug discovery, glycobiotechnology, pharmaceutical marketing & management, clinical pharmacy, advanced biotechnology, genetic engineering & protein engineering, pharmacoeconomics, genotoxic analysis and pharmaceutical care practice. Overall, the course caters to the interest of the students and offers them the freedom to choose their research area as well as the recommended and optional subjects besides the compulsory disciplines. Other than the high quality education and hands-on training to the students, a platform for interaction with the industry professionals and distinguished researchers around the globe is also provided that confers awareness to them about the globally increasing competitiveness in the field of pharmaceutical research.
