The Master in Engineering Sciences (MCI) seeks to meet this challenge by training researchers and professionals with a strategic vision to identify and solve important problems and the ability  to generate innovations. The MCI degree confers broad and cross-disciplinary qualities, but also allows students to specialize in one of the following areas:
  • Clean energy and sustainable water use 
  • Mechatronics and advanced manufacturing, including robotics and control
  • Telecommunication
  • Industrial Engineering

The general objective of this program is to train professionals as agents of change for the industrial and academic sectors who are capable of doing applied research, technological development and technology transfer, in the areas of engineering sciences.

  •  Have a professional degree in engineering or related areas.
  •  Have obtained an average of 90/100 or higher or its equivalent in their professional studies.
  •  Obtain a score required for the program in the TOEFL English proficiency test. 
  •  Take the Tecnológico de Monterrey’s Graduate Admission Test (PAEP test) and obtain the score required for the program or a score equivalent in other tests authorized by the Institution.
  • Have an academic interview with an admissions committee made up of the program director, the coordinator of the selected field of knowledge, and at least one member of the corresponding faculty.
  •  Submit the application for admission together with all the documentation required.
  •  Three letters of recommendation from people who know the applicant's professional or academic performance.
