The disruptive environment in which businesses operate today is global, dynamic and poses a myriad of challenges for organisations and its leaders. The overall aim of this DBA online course is to develop the skills required of business leaders within the complexities of the fourth industrial revolution. Students will be encouraged to reflect upon one’s own personal and professional, skills and engage in dialogue with global peers in order to prepare them to manage, lead and help transform their respective organisations. Each student will become a research-informed business leader who is able to apply best practice within his/her organisational and in one’s own managerial practices. The interaction between theory and practice provides leaders with research informed perspectives that add value in terms of business effectiveness, efficiency and capability. In the online learning environment students will study their two taught modules through a range of interactions that offer both synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities.
