The two-year Master's Degree in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology, the only one in Italy to focus on pediatric endocrinology and diabetology, aims to provide specific skills in the field of endocrine physiopathology and developmental diabetes, through the synergistic contribution of a multidisciplinary team of teachers who guarantee the opportunity for a holistic view of these clinical conditions.
The Master's program promotes advanced learning of the diagnostic and therapeutic pathway in the following areas:
The Master's program aims to train professionals capable of providing certified healthcare and research in the field of pediatric endocrinology and diabetology. Specific skills are required for the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine and diabetological conditions that can arise from birth to adolescence, and many of these clinical conditions require a chronic treatment regimen, the management of which is entrusted to a pediatric endocrinologist. Conversely, thanks in part to the longer survival rates achieved with innovative treatments for chronic and rare diseases, specific endocrine skills are increasingly in demand.
The Master's program provides expertise in the physiology and pathology of childhood endocrinology and diabetes, working in synergy with a multidisciplinary team of faculty to provide a holistic approach to pediatric endocrine diseases. Furthermore, in the field of diabetes, the program will promote learning about new treatment technologies tailored to the unique needs of each child/adolescent and their caregivers, as well as education in therapeutic self-management.

Degree in Medicine and Surgery and qualification to practice as a medical surgeon
Specialization in Pediatrics and/or Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases (preferred qualification)
